How old do you have to be to COACH youth basketball?
I am 16 years old and I really want to coach youth rec basketball this winter. Am I too young? I played basketball for 6 years including 4 years of traveling before I quit to play fastpitch softball year round. I would like to volunteer to coach at my school district, do you think that that would be possible or am I too young? Thanks for all your help in advance.
Don’t think there is an age limit, if there is try and get on as an assistant coach and work your way to coach that way.
