A business partner and myself are looking at building an ultimate hockey draft website. We cannot figure out where to grab the data from.

Ask any odds-maker – they can tell you (probably for a price).

I’ve checked around, and I saw a web site called stats.com. They provide white-label web applications that other businesses leverage to deliver sports content on the web. I’m not sure about the details or whether they charge you or not, but it looks like a good place to start.
