If you look what happened when that team was dismantled:
Coffee won 2 cups with Pittsburgh
Messier won 1 with NYR
Gretzky took LA to the 93 finals
If that team had stayed together, you can realistically believe that instead of the Oilers winning 5 cups in 7 years, we’d be talking about 7 cups in 9 years. One of the greatest sports dynasties of all time.

wayne gretzky is the best hockey player and possibly the best human being ever he shows so much class and he just make’s you want to be a hockey player if you havn’t heard or played hockey before gretz is just unbelievable and it make’s me want to accomplish something like what he has done he celebrates with dignity and everything he does just makes him the best hockey player ever!
If Gretz had stayed in Edmonton, (along w/ the additional Cups) his career would’ve lasted at least a season or two longer. He’d likely be either the Oilers head coach or GM right now.
