@MrChubbers You’re right about europa league games being non-entities. I mean, does anyone give a shit? Even teams that qualify don’t care – their priority is the premier league. The Europa league is just a competition for losers and crap teams from tiny eastern european countries whose names I can’t pronounce.
commentators like this really piss me off. In the UK in the 1970’s they had Sid Waddell commentating on darts. he made it sound like a matter of life and death. They like the sound of their own voice more than the sport they commentate on. I feel a contract with 5 commentating on nonentity Europa League games coming.
